So we are dealing with a very good port of a newer game for old consoles, but on the other hand – a port without own invention and at least a minimal dose of new elements.

Fortunately, the game is offered in a cross-buy option, so we get the PS3 and PS Vita versions for free, which is fair from Sony, because I do not see any point in paying even a zloty for a second time for something that does not offer absolutely any new content. Resogun is a voxel-based side-scrolling shoot em up video game developed by Finnish developer Housemarque and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Of course, if someone has already played Resogun on PS4, they will find absolutely nothing here that they would not have to deal with anymore.

No, it does not slow down below smooth 30 frames, but playing the original version at 60 frames per second, the difference is gigantic and in the case of this type of game it is one of the biggest drawbacks. Of course, if we are not sensitive to the flow of the game. Surprisingly for me, however, until we transfer the screenshots taken on the console to the PC, we will not notice such a difference on the Sony console screen. Yes, I had enormous fears and I expected a very poor port that will kill what is the best in Resogun and what I liked a year ago. Resogun is more forgiving than a traditional bullet hell, its patterns less intricate and easier to evade.
